For this hypernarrative project, I thought about a core communicative tool we use to bond in such large communities: gossip. In a college environment, gossip is runs rampant, and while it is an efficient way to foster new relationships, it can also be extremely harmful as it is transactional. While we trade secrets in exchange for more secrets intending for them to be kept, we know that they are made to be shared; it is just in our nature to do so.
